DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP

At SIRSA, we recognize the need to establish a shared vision of Digital Citizenship that is understood by students and all the members of the school community. At SIRSA, Digital Citizenship means:

  • having digital literacy skills that are age appropriate.

  • keeping abreast of evolving technological advances.

  • communicating and collaborating with respect, empathy and integrity in the digital world.

  • acting ethically and being aware of digital rights and responsibilities.

  • respecting personal information, and that of others, as producers and consumers of digital content.

  • creating awareness of, and diligence about, cyber security and data privacy.

  • being enthusiastic and confident user of digital resources.

  • having the ability to critically evaluate digital resources.

  • maintaining a healthy and balanced use of technology with focus on digital well-being.
