In the Pre-Primary years we will follow a non-formal, flexible, yet structured and planned approach to learning that bears in mind the heterogeneity of the learner and learning styles. Our objective of early childhood education is to foster the child’s holistic development, build upon his/her fine motor skills and encourage sensorial growth. The emphasis is on exploring, knowing, understanding and forming their own ideas.

We will inculcate in children the qualities of curiosity, exploration and discovery in a fun-filled, safe and happy learning environment. While emphasizing on nurturing a love of learning, the focus on value education will remain strong in the SR International School & Sports Academy. Children will be encouraged to develop self-confidence and enrich their abilities to effectively communicate in their mother tongue as well as in English. This will be ensured by teachers as they would help them acquire the linguistic and logical ability and encourage the young learners to express themselves freely.

The principles of learning applied in pre-primary will include Holistic Development and Learning (Aesthetics and Creative Expression, Language and Literacy, Numeracy, Self and Social Awareness); Integrated Learning; Active Learning; Supportive Learning; Interactive Learning and Learning through Play.
We will provide activities to encourage children to flourish and learn through exploration in the several areas of learning, all interwoven in the classroom. Games, drawing, story-telling, songs, painting, and creative projects help develop children’s foundational and motor skills. Picnics, field trips, and short nature walks give children countless opportunities to interact with their surroundings and allows them to learn by doing and experiment with creative ideas.
